The Trail Jays are taking some positives out of a 1-3 weekend.

Coach Nick Combo says despite the record there was some power at the plate for his club at the Safety Net Midsummer Classic.

With a 5-20 record this season Coach Combo believes defense is key to his teams success going forward.

He hopes they can start to turn things around for the 4th of July Woodbat Classic which kicks off Wednesday in Spokane.
