NewsSecond Wettest July On Record
As expected the July rainfall stats are almost as ugly as June's.
Our local fire centre weather service says last month was the second wettest July on record with over 117 millimetres (mm). We had 143mm back in 1998.
Over half the entire rainfall last month came on that crazy afternoon of July 17th when over 68mm fell. June was the wettest month ever on local record with three and a half times the average rainfall, at nearly 228mm.
