NewsTrails Inaugural Open Market Starts Today

The Executive Director of Trail's Chamber of Commerce says a bi-weekly Community Market beginning Friday will draw foot traffic to the downtown.
The market will feature food offerings and other activities ranging from haircuts to belly-dancing. Maggie Stayanovich says local businesses are fully on-board too and will have stalls on the sidewalk as well.
She adds other businesses will try to take advantage of the traffic by offering special deals and sidewalk sales.
The market takes place at the Esplanade and runs from 10am till 2pm.
