NewsGenelle Asphalt Plant Recognized For Excellence
A local asphalt paving plant has earned a Diamond Acheivement Commendation for excellence.
Selkirk Paving's Genelle Plant in Crescent Valley has been recognized by the National Asphalt Pavement Association.
Operations Manager Tony Maida says staff have done a great job in shifting practices to help make the plant a state of the art facility.
He mentions reducing carbon and greenhouse gas emissions. He says people don't even realize Genelle is there because you can't see, hear or smell much of anything.
