Genelle Trailer Park Ready For Rising Waters

The berm in Whispering Pines Trailer Park in Genelle is holding back rising water levels.
Regional Director for the Area Linda Worley says BC Hydro has put posts into the ground in order to stop some of the wash against the berm. Last night the owner of the park had three BC Hydro officials on hand to inform the residents the levels will be rising in increments of 4 to 9 inches.
The rising Columbia River washed over two roads accessing some of the homes at the park.
