NewsAirport Service Review Delayed
A Service Review for Trail's Regional Airport has been pushed back until an Economic Impact Study can be examined.
Councillor Robert Cacchioni says the study will show exactly what impact the airport has on the entire East End Area and then communities can decide on their financial contribution. That is, the service review will determine which communities want to be on board and which are not interested.
Part of the reason for the review process is because of a divided opinion on improvements and expansion. The City says there's an apparent lack of interest from some contributing neighbouring communities and that could create a potential loss of benefits and opportunities at the airport.
