The man charged with Sunday's arson attempt of the Midway RCMP detachment has been identified as Ian Jason Peregoodoff of Grand Forks.
The 43-year-old appeared in Grand Forks provincial court Tuesday and is expected to return to court Wednesday in Nelson.
He's charged with two counts of arson and two counts of mischief. He remains in police custody.
Peregoodoff is also charged with mischief and theft relating to an incident in Grand Forks on April 4th.
