Another Bear Destroyed In Fairview

Nelson Police had to assist Conservation Officers in destroying another bear this week.
There were multiple calls Tuesday afternoon about a bear wandering through yards in the Fairview area. NPD tracked the bear until it climbed up a tree and settled in.
Conservation Officers showed up and decided the 3-4 year old black bear was clearly comfortable around people and had to be dispatched. It was the second bear shot in Fairview this month.
