A motorist has died in traffic in Castlegar after suffering what appears to have been a heart attack.
RCMP corporal Dan Pollock says the 71 year-old was driving with his wife along Columbia Avenue near the Safeway late Friday morning.
Pollock says no other vehicles were involved and there was minor damage to the man's SUV.
He is not from our region.
